It can be said that the secondary signal of a fire alarm after smoke is an increase in ambient temperature. Thermal detectors are responsible for analyzing changes in ambient temperature. According to EN 54-5, two types of performance can be considered for a thermal detector: performance by reaching a constant temperature threshold and performance in the event of a sudden change in ambient temperature (Class S and R). In designing and manufacturing ZITEX heat detectors, these two classes have been considered.

Conventional Fix Heat / ROR Detector

ZI-H 720

The engineered body of the detector is made using heat-resistant ABS. A 360-degree crystal indicator with two flashing modes, green (normal mode) and solid red (alarm mode), shows the detector operation. Providing enough space behind the detector to enter the positive and negative wires of the zone as well as the remote indicator wire, and the use of double elevator terminals, has made the detector installation much easier. The detector circuit is designed to protect against reverse polarity. The circuit is made of two-layer metallized fiberglass and the electronic components are assembled on the circuit using SMT technology.

Moisture, vapor and corrosion resistant layers have also been applied to the circuits. Specialized programming of microprocessors ensures the operational reliability of the detector. Both software and hardware control the environmental noise and F.A.P (False Alarm Protection) technology has been used to achieve this. Like all ZITEX detectors, this model has the ability to connect remotely. The metal parts of the detector are coated with chrome plating to protect against corrosion.
